Research and Development (R&D) Manager – In Office (Houston, TX)

Summary

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, driving product innovation, and delivering solutions on aggressive timelines. The candidate is responsible for overseeing the development of cutting-edge SaaS products that meet the evolving needs of our clients, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or engineering management, preferably in the SaaS or software industry. Bringing new SaaS products from concept to market is a plus
• Proven experience leading R&D teams and managing complex, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, with the ability to guide technical teams in developing innovative solutions.
• Excellent project management skills focusing on timeline management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean product development methodologies.
